Exercise 9

Search for the interview done in exercise 6

This is a group exercise.

In this exercise you will conduct a search and deliver the results related to the question on evaluation of digital libraries as stated in exercise 5. In exercise 5 you modeled the user. Here you use that model.

You received the written question and you gathered further elaboration and information in the interview. Use all of these to do a search and provide the answers.

Deliverable:

Deliver your answer in form of a report to a user:

• sorted by categories (you choose them),
• in each category, list of answers themselves with sources,
• a summary for each answer (could be a copy/paste of an abstract or the like)
• for those answers that you assess as potentially most useful provide full text, if it exists;
• you can be evaluative, but with justification of evaluations.

The organization and formatting of the report may be similar to the one you will prepare for your user.
